Place of Residence, Place of Stay, and Place of Serving a Sentence for Persons Sentenced to Imprisonment: Interaction Between Criminal Law and Private Law (Part 2)

<jats:p>Three main blocks of problems in the criminal law branches of law concerning the place of residence have been identified: the conceptual framework, the connection between the appointment and serving of punishment and the place of residence, the place of stay of a citizen, and the validity of qualifying the place of serving of punishment for those sentenced to imprisonment as the place of stay. The article provides doctrinal conclusions and suggestions for improving legislation regarding the qualification of the place of serving sentences for those sentenced to imprisonment, the types of places of residence, the unification of criminal and penal legislation, and the use of terms from various branches of legislation.</jats:p>
