Abstract
<jats:p>The article is devoted to the discussion of the conditions and results of the implementation of the national project "Education" based on the principles of project management. The content of the project passport became one of the conditions for achieving the planned results and determined the content of methodological approaches to achieving them. The success of the national Education project was largely achieved by the combination of various management mechanisms. Their integrated use helped to reduce the risks of implementing the national project and increased the efficiency of management activities. On the basis on the analysis of the conditions and factors, the content and specifics of key aspects of federal projects that complement the national project "Education", the authors identify adaptive, organizational, personnel, event, motivational, financial and essential project management mechanisms. The negative effects that arise during the implementation of the national project were identified. It is concluded that the effectiveness of the results of the national educational project was ensured by flexibility in decision-making, their variability, complexity of problem solving, targeting, expansion of social subjectivity and increased interest of all involved actors.</jats:p>
