Intelligent Decision Support System for Skin Cancer Diagnosis

<jats:p>This article discusses an innovative method for detecting skin cancer using an intelligent decision support system. The article discusses the time spent by oncologists on examining patients, as well as the challenges faced by inexperienced dermatologists in making accurate diagnoses. An intelligent decision support system has been developed to classify skin neoplasms in order to improve the quality of initial diagnosis, specifically in detecting malignant skin tumors, preventing medical errors by dermatologists, and saving time for oncologists.</jats:p>
