Improving the efficiency of monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic converters through the use of metal-organic thin-film layers based on copper(I) iodide and bromide complexes

<jats:p>This article presents a study of the optical and luminescent properties of thin films of copper(I) iodide and bromide complexes. Analysis of the optical spectra revealed a maximum absorption coefficient in the 300-480 nm frequency range. The luminescence spectrum maximum for the studied compounds was observed in the 540-580 nm range. As a result, with incident radiation of 400-950 nm and a deposited material volume of 1 ml, we observed an increase in efficiency from 21.7 to 22.3% using the Cu(I)P(Ph)3 complex.</jats:p>
