Zoospore release v2

<p>This protocol describes how to prepare giant kelp sporophyll blades for zoospore release in a lab setting. The procedure is designed to result in a consistently successful release of zoospores from processed giant kelp sporophyll blades. The protocol is based on Reed et al. 1991 methods to induce zoospore release where minimal changes were made to standardize amount of sporophylls and filtered seawater used.</p>
