Abstract

<p>This protocol describes the extraction of high-quality total RNA from combined young apple (Malus domestica) leaf and flower tissues using both TRIzol™ Reagent and the FavorPrep™ Plant Total RNA Mini Kit. The extracted RNA was used for RNA sequencing to support annotation of the 'Liberty' genome assembly.</p>
