Обязательства государств – членов евразийского экономического союза в сфере имплементации рекомендаций группы разработки финансовых мер борьбы с отмыванием денег (ФАТФ), Obligations of the eurasian economic union member states in the sphere of implementation of the financial action task force on money laundering (FATF) recommendations

<jats:p>This article examines the relationship between the international obligations of states arising from their participation in the mechanisms of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the obligations of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). While formally retaining a non-binding character, the FATF Recommendations in practice defi ne a common external framework for the AML/CFT/WMD system of the EAEU member states. EAEU law creates the conditions for the harmonization of AML/CFT/WMD legislation within the Union. The article substantiates the need to move from a coordination-based model towards the formation of institutionalized international legal regulation of AML/CFT/WMD within the EAEU.</jats:p>
