Abstract

SECRA (Students and Early Career Researchers in Archaeology) was created to foster a welcoming, supportive space in which students and young archaeologists, regardless of their current level of study, can share their research and, for some, take their first steps along an academic path. From the beginning, the conference was international, so that it could bring together a truly diverse group of young archaeologists with different backgrounds, perspectives, approaches, and research interests. This year it welcomed over 40 participants from 11 countries, even spanning continents. The conference is organised by Archaeology Students' Club (KSA FFZG), University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Department of Archaeology, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
