Abstract
This monograph is devoted to the theoretical analysis, synthesis, and microprocessor implementation of energy-optimal prescribed PWM methods used to control voltage souerce and current souerce inverters In order to summarize the extensive material on these issues, the paper focuses not on the differences between inverter topologies and control methods, but on their unity. This approach can serve as the basis for developing a PWM theory applied to power electronics. The closed-form relationships, as well as the patterns and algorithms, obtained in the monograph can be useful in the design of autonomous inverters with PWM. The monograph is intended for engineers, researchers, and graduate students specializing in the development of power electronics devices and systems.
