<jats:p>In recent decades, a new bourgeoisie has begun to form in the post-Soviet space. Today, it is faced with the serious task of transferring the business to the next generation, which has not yet been adequately conceptualized theoretically in countries with an interrupted tradition of capitalist development. However, these countries have their own researchers who have proposed their own socio-philosophical developments on this issue. This article analyzes the problem of transferring a family business in the works of Vitaly Trofimov-Trofimov, based on the description and practical application of the concept of Familia Romana. The theoretical framework of this author, based primarily on the ideas of social constructivism, provides original recipes for family education, distinguishing the roles of heir and successor, understanding the logic of the cumulative effect, and analyzing the course of business transfer scenarios.</jats:p>
