NAMES OF DISEASES IN THE EPIC " MANAS QUOT; AND THEIR LEXICAL-SEMANTIC THEMATIC GROUPS

<jats:p>The vocabulary department of linguistics is always in motion as a living department in accordance with the requirements of the progressive development of society. This means that the language is enriched by adding new words or reusing old words in a new format. Thus, we can emphasize that the Kyrgyz vocabulary has a long history. The main purpose of this work is to divide the names of diseases in the Manas epic into lexico-semantic thematic groups. Examples based on the epic " Manas" indicate that traditional Kyrgyz medicine has long been well developed.</jats:p>
