Abstract
<jats:p>This collection provides a collection of articles focused on mental and behavioral health problems and diagnoses. Whether seeing patients in outpatient clinics, the hospital setting, or the community, pediatricians care for children and adolescents whose emotional well-being, developmental needs, and social environments profoundly shape their overall health. This collection addresses mental health conditions encountered in contemporary general pediatrics with topics from the complicated reality of social media, anxiety disorders, to the recognition of child abuse and more. This collection empowers clinicians to seamlessly integrate mental and behavioral health into their practice, proactively identify and address child abuse, and inspire the next generation of pediatric professionals to remain resilient and unafraid to engage in these health problems.
