<jats:p>It is a worldwide fact that the potato planting material meeting the biological, phytosanitary and the physical requirements is one of the essential factors in achieving high, stable and quality yields. Both the planting material and the yield itself, without overlooking the other technological components, can contribute more than 50% to obtaining reliable productions (DRAICA C. and CACIUC C., 1998).</jats:p>
