<jats:p>THE MEDIATIZED BODY – OR A FEW THOUGHTS ON THE BODY’S MEDIA ADVENTURESThe mediatized body, subjected to media pressure and introduced into media circulation, raises several communicative and philosophical questions. These concern both the subject’s place – its location in a new environment – and its subjectivity. They lead to reflection, in which questions from various discourses intersect and demand a new understanding. They provoke reflection on the mediatized body, its changing properties, as well as on ways to study its new roles and methodologies that would allow for a diagnosis of its use. This article aims to provide a space for reflection on the mediatized body, drawing on the diverse research approaches necessary to study its communicative functions.</jats:p>
