Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of an important problem of modern professional sports, namely, the identification of factors that enhance the effective group interaction of sports team members and contribute to achieving high results in conditions of intense and complex sports competition. The purpose of the authors' research is to conduct a comprehensive socio-psychological analysis of isolation as one of the most significant factors in the processes of group dynamics in sports teams and to identify its positive and/or negative role in the system of interpersonal relationships in the team, which determines the degree of effectiveness of collective activity. The research objectives include defining the concepts of "group dynamics" and "isolation" in a sports context, classifying the types of isolation in group communication, and analyzing the role of the coach in fostering team cohesion. Additionally, the article explores the risks and consequences of isolation for creating a positive psychological climate and emphasizes the importance of the coach in this process. It is concluded that the conscious and professional use of the isolation factor, based on an understanding of the laws of group dynamics, allows for the formation of cohesive and effective sports teams. Based on the conducted theoretical and empirical research, the authors propose psychological recommendations for coaches and sports managers on the use of isolation as a management tool.
