Abstract
<jats:p>The article discusses the problems of planning financial support for scientific and scientific-technical activities. The reasons for the low effective demand for scientific and scientific-technical products, the disproportion between the types of scientific research and development, which do not ensure the technological unity of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities, are revealed. The main sources of information for the development of projects for federal and regional budgets, budgets of innovative enterprises for financing science are regulatory legal acts in the field of scientific and technological development, scientific and technical forecasts, national goals and objectives of specific subjects of scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities, statistical data on the state of scientific and technical potential. Recommendations are given on improving the mechanism for planning financial support for scientific and technological development aimed at achieving national goals.</jats:p>
