Abstract
<jats:p>The source material of the textbook was current theoretical and applied issues of decision-making in a criminal case, the methodological basis was based on the provisions of the theory of decision-making in criminal proceedings, developed by Professor P. A. Lupinskaya. The manual covers the general provisions of the theory of decision-making in criminal proceedings, the theory and practice of decision-making when considering a report of a crime, when investigating crimes, when a criminal case with an indictment is brought to the prosecutor, in the court of first instance, in the appellate, cassation, supervisory authorities, the specifics of decision-making in certain categories of criminal cases and in in relation to certain categories of persons. All sections are accompanied by control questions and educational tasks. For undergraduates studying under the program "Criminal Law and Criminal Justice" at the O. E. Kutafin University (MGUA), as well as graduate students, students, and scientists dealing with the problems of criminal justice.</jats:p>
