The functional role of traditional values in the development of the Russian legal system: theoretical and methodological aspect

<jats:p>The modern Russian legal system is in a state of dynamic transformation, characterized by the need to modernize the legal space, harmonize and preserve the identity of the legal tradition. The author has attempted a comprehensive analysis of traditional values from the perspective of their functional role in various spheres of legal reality; developed a categorical apparatus for the study of traditional values; identified mechanisms of interaction of traditional values with legal institutions; analyzed the transformation processes in the legal system in terms of their impact on traditional value bases. It will be useful both for the scientific community and for practitioners involved in law-making and law enforcement activities.</jats:p>
