Abstract

<jats:p>The monograph is devoted to a substantive study of the role of Russian courts in ensuring the implementation of international law and other international instruments in the Russian legal system since the adoption of the Constitution of the Russian Federation in 1993. She continues her long-term Russian and foreign research on international law in national courts. The article shows the role of courts in the development of law, the establishment and consolidation of elements of the rule of law, and the changing attitude of courts and the country as a whole to its international obligations. The book is a development of the author's concept of the operation and implementation of the norms of international law in the legal system of Russia, set out in a monograph published by the publishing house "Norm" in 2011.
