Abstract

The textbook on the history of political doctrines offers a systematic and visual presentation of the development of political thought from Antiquity to modern times. He consistently reveals the formation of key political concepts and schools — from Platonic-Aristotelian ideas about the state and medieval political theology to the Enlightenment, classical liberalism and conservatism, Marxism and socialist movements, nationalism, feminism, ecological and postcolonial thought, as well as the problems of global governance and political theory of the 21st century. It promotes students' ability to critically analyze political texts, compare concepts, interpret ideas in their socio-historical context, and apply theoretical approaches to the analysis of modern political practice. Meets the requirements of the latest generation of federal state educational standards for higher education. It is intended for students and postgraduates studying in the specialty "Political Science", as well as for those who are interested in political, economic, legal, social and intellectual history.
