Abstract
<jats:p>Based on a study of a wide range of doctrinal sources, the monograph shows the place that historical and legal science occupies in the modern scientific and legal environment. The main directions of the influence of post-non-classical scientific rationality and its characteristic interdisciplinarity on historical and legal knowledge and the methodology of its increment are revealed. The directions of the evolution of the history of the state and law under the influence of anthropological and linguistic turns are substantiated, the question of the formation of the historical and anthropological theory of law is raised. The potential of new methodological approaches is shown on the example of specific historical and legal issues. It is recommended for teachers, researchers, graduate students, law students, as well as anyone interested in the development of historical and legal science.</jats:p>
