Citizens in the defense and security system of the Russian Federation

<jats:p>The monograph is devoted to the public-legal characterization of citizens in the system of ensuring defense and security of the Russian Federation. The constitutional and administrative legal bases of citizens' participation in ensuring the defense of the country and the security of the state are disclosed, the mechanism of legal support for the defense and security of the Russian Federation, the legal status of citizens, the legal forms of participation in ensuring the defense of the country and the security of the state are described, and the mechanism for protecting the rights and legitimate interests of participating citizens in judicial and extrajudicial proceedings is analyzed. The author's vision of solving theoretical and practical problems of the legal status of citizens in the field of ensuring the defense and security of the Russian Federation in the context of modern military threats is outlined.
