Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph is devoted to the analysis of the transition from the traditional model of linear economy (due to its destructive impact on the ecosystem of the planet, it is recognized as inconsistent with the principles of sustainable development) to the model of circular economy, or closed-loop economy. In Russia, the need for an early transition to circular models of economic activity of business entities is dictated by the problems of waste accumulation and the lack of an appropriate technological base for the development of recycling. The development of an expedient method of circular transformation of the model of economic entities according to socio-ecological and economic criteria and the formation of a mechanism and tools for the development of the circular model of the Russian economy is a key scientific and practical task that requires a speedy solution.
