Assessment and analysis of the tourist potential of administrative-territorial units: the approach of forecast values

<jats:p>The monograph presents the results of a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of research related to the assessment of the tourist potential of administrative-territorial units (ATA) from 1882 to 2024. For the first time, scientific schools were identified, the author's approach to predictive values and the methodology for quantifying the ATA tourist potential were developed, solving the problems of subjectivism and assessing the future through the present. A computer program "Calculator of tourist potential" is proposed for automating calculations and making recommendations on tourism policy. The method has been successfully tested using the example of the Perm Region. It is addressed to specialists in the field of tourism, researchers, teachers, graduate students, students and government officials.</jats:p>
