Abstract
<jats:p>The textbook contains material divided into two thematic sections, which makes it easier to perceive and to facilitate the assimilation of educational information. The first section is devoted to general information about extremism and terrorism as a threat to society and includes a conflictological analysis of terrorism as a socially dangerous phenomenon, the content of key definitions of academic discipline, and also allows students to form knowledge and ideas about terrorist and extremist organizations banned in the Russian Federation. The second section reveals the psychological factors of youth involvement in extremist and terrorist communities and ways to prevent them in the work of a psychologist with young people at risk of potential victims of recruitment by terrorists and extremists. After each chapter, self-monitoring questions and practical tasks are given, as well as a list of recommended literature that allows you to expand your theoretical knowledge on the subject under study. Meets the requirements of the latest generation of federal state educational standards for higher education.
