Abstract

<jats:p>The monograph is devoted to the life and scientific works of the greatest scientist of the Prague emigration, economist, geographer, public figure, founder and chief theorist of Eurasianism Peter Nikolaevich Savitsky. The biography of the scientist, who, due to life circumstances, found himself in exile in Czechoslovakia, is covered in detail. The main directions of P.N. Savitsky's scientific search and his works in various fields of state and public life are considered. P.N. Savitsky lived a long life full of losses and hardships, but retained the ability to serve science highly, without abandoning his ideas and moral ideals, relevant in our time. It is intended for scientists, graduate students, and students interested in the first wave of Russian emigration.</jats:p>
