Abstract
<jats:p>The textbook covers all key issues of the general part of civil law: the concept and system of the branch, civil law relations, subjects (individuals and legal entities, public law entities) and objects of civil rights, transactions, representation, deadlines, property rights, obligations, enforcement of obligations, responsibility for their violation, civil lawa legal agreement. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the practice of higher courts. For each topic, a separate section systematically summarizes the key statements of the Plenums and the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation, reviews of judicial practice, information letters from the supreme courts, as well as individual legal positions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and the European Court of Human Rights. Current examples of the application of civil law norms, clarifications on complex and controversial issues formulated in judicial acts of recent years are presented, which allows us to consider the actual functioning of civil law institutions and navigate modern law enforcement trends.
