Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph discusses topical issues of physico-chemical treatment of man-made waters using combined flotation equipment, including KBS-type flotation combines for various purposes. Much attention is paid to the extraction of metals from man-made waters. The basics of ion flotation used to extract ions of valuable metals are considered in sufficient detail. It is shown that the use of KBS-type flotation combines can significantly increase the extraction of various pollutants from man-made waters, and with reduced energy and material costs. It is intended for researchers, undergraduates, postgraduates, university professors and anyone interested in the problems of man-made and wastewater treatment.</jats:p>
