Abstract

For the first time in world practice, the monograph examines topical issues of physico-chemical treatment of man-made waters using combined flotation equipment, including flotation combines for various purposes. Much attention is paid to the extraction of metals from man-made waters. The basics of ion flotation used to extract valuable metal ions are considered in sufficient detail. It is shown that the use of flotation combines makes it possible to significantly increase the extraction of various pollutants from man-made waters, and with reduced energy and material costs. It is intended for researchers, university professors, students and anyone interested in the problems of man-made and wastewater treatment.
