Enhancing Wellness Tourism: Synergizing Hospitality and Technology for Holistic Guest Well-being

<jats:p>Wellness tourism is a burgeoning sector within the global travel industry, driven by an increasing focus on health, mindfulness, and holistic well-being. This chapter explores the synergistic integration of hospitality and advanced technology to enhance guest experiences in wellness tourism. Through a mixed-methods approach, including a case study of Tranquil Peaks Resort, the study evaluates the impact of personalized technological interventions and compassionate hospitality on guest satisfaction and health outcomes. Data were collected via qualitative interviews with resort staff and guests, alongside quantitative surveys of 150 guests. Findings reveal a significant correlation between technology-enhanced personalization, empathetic hospitality, and improved well-being, with statistical evidence indicating a 30% increase in guest engagement and a 38% reduction in stress levels. The study proposes a framework for industry practitioners to integrate artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and human-centered hospitality, offering actionable recommendations for sustainable growth in wellness tourism. This research contributes to both academic discourse and practical applications, addressing gaps in understanding the combined effects of technology and hospitality on holistic guest well-being.</jats:p>
