<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>This book presents over 200 selected letters by E. E. Constance Jones, May Sinclair, Karin Costelloe-Stephen, Hilda D. Oakeley, Susan Stebbing, and Margaret Macdonald, revealing their intellectual contributions during a period of significant change in English philosophy. It traces the development and interaction of major philosophical movements, including idealism, new realism, emergentism, Bergsonism, and logical positivism, during the period spanning two world wars. The letters provide original philosophical insights into logic, aesthetics, metaphysics, ethics, religion, and epistemology while clarifying the authors’ views and intellectual engagements. It also documents the books these philosophers read, the events they attend, and the circumstances surrounding the composition of their philosophical works. Finally, the book illuminates the professional and intellectual networks that connect these women philosophers and demonstrates their important place within a wider community of women thinkers in England and beyond.</jats:p>
