Handbook of EMDR for Children and Adolescents

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>This handbook provides information to be covered in EMDR child and adolescent (C&amp;A) trainings, including relevant background information to improve understanding of this material and its context (Part I). Additionally, it offers specific details on applying EMDR to various client populations (Part II) and across multiple client settings (Part III). The book supplies an overview of the state of the art in the field and clarifies the relevance of EMDR for children and adolescents. It aims to serve as a resource for clinicians, consultants, and trainers, and to contribute to standardizing the content of EMDR C&amp;A training programmes internationally. A subsequent goal is to inspire researchers to identify relevant questions and topics for new research projects. The editors authored Part I (Chapters 1–11) and edited Parts II and III (Chapters 12–24), which were written by experts in the clinical practice of the fields they are describing. The book integrates insights generated from empirical research and clinical practice, presenting it in clear and easily accessible language. The clinical practice is illustrated with case studies.</jats:p>
