<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>Optimal C-arm viewing angle selection is critical for safe and effective endovascular embolization of intracranial aneurysms, as it directly influences visualization of the aneurysm neck and parent vessels while minimizing overlap and foreshortening. In current clinical practice, this selection is performed manually by interventional neuroradiologists, and substantial inter-operator variability has been reported. Although imaging-based optimization methods have been explored in other interventional domains, no focused synthesis has addressed (semi-)automatic C-arm view selection for intracranial aneurysm treatment. This scoping review aims to map and characterize published approaches proposing, developing, or evaluating (semi-)automatic methods for optimal C-arm view selection in this context.</jats:p>
