<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p> The focus of the present entry is on <jats:italic>educational praxis</jats:italic> in second language development. Praxis, in this case, is defined as the necessary integration of theoretical knowledge of features of a language and concrete goal‐directed communicative activity. The integration is understood from the perspective of dialectics, as will become clear throughout the remainder of this entry. </jats:p>
