Bernoulli Society for Mathematical Statistics and Probability: 50 Years of Service to the Community

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title> <jats:p>This article contains a brief presentation of the Bernoulli Society for Mathematical Statistics and Probability. We give an overview of its 50 years long history and list its most important activities, including publications, impressive series of conferences and a system of awards and prizes, in a great part directed to young researchers.</jats:p>
