Abstract
<jats:p>The article examines legal mechanisms aimed at ensuring compliance with obligations by the Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter — the EAEU). It analyzes the provisions of the EAEU Treaty, the case law of the EAEU Court, and the role of the Eurasian Economic Commission in enforcement practice. The authors also analyze mechanisms for ensuring compliance in other integration associations, including the European Union, identifying key problems and gaps in the EAEU system. The study of the norms of the EAEU Treaty and its annexes indicates that direct interaction with the national authorities of the member States is provided in the activities of the Eurasian Economic Commission. In conclusion, the article proposes directions for reforming the Union’s legal instruments in order to enhance their effectiveness.</jats:p>
