Abstract
<jats:p>The basics of foresight are considered as a specific form of forecasting the most important areas of research in which technologies that are significant for society may appear. Foresight is also presented as a socio-humanitarian technology for creating an image of the future in a particular field. The role of foresight in innovative development and strategic planning is revealed. The foresight methodology is presented. The foresight project management is considered, the main stages of its implementation are presented. The features of different types of foresight, including regional and corporate ones, are revealed. The possibility of conducting an individual foresight is substantiated, and the technology for conducting it has been developed. The content of the textbook corresponds to the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. It is intended for Master's degree students studying in the fields of Economics, Management and Applied Informatics, and for anyone interested in modern management.</jats:p>
